Electronics:

We only take electronics on the FIRST MONDAY of each month.

  • Screens: $20-$30/per screen

Holiday Schedule:

Memorial Day - Monday May 25th - Closed - Routes will be running 1 day behind

Labor Day - Monday September 7 - Closed - Routes will be running 1 day behind

Thanksgiving - Thursday November 26th - Closed - Routes will be run on Friday

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day - Thursday December 24th and Friday December 25th - Closed

Update:

Collection of recyclables will be provided at no charge to customers under Colorado’s Producer Responsibility Program for Statewide Recycling Act, House Bill 22-1355, using funding provided by producers of paper products and product packaging materials who do business in Colorado.

This means that once the contracts with CAA are finalized participating companies will no longer charge Colorado residents for recycling services.

Residential and Commercial Recycling

By becoming a member of Design for Recycle’s curbside pick-up service, you will receive an orange and a green bag to place your recyclables in. Your recyclables will be picked up at a frequency of your choice (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly). You will also have the option of adding every-other-week trash to your curbside recycling service.

PRICING

Monthly Recycling Pick-up (once-a-month-pick up): $33 / quarter

Bi-Weekly Recycling Pick-up: $54 / quarter

Weekly Recycling Pick-up: $63 / quarter

Every-other-week Trash: $42 / quarter

*You can add trash pick-up to any recycling plan. You cannot sign up for trash only; trash service must be combined with recycling service.

MATERIALS WE ACCEPT

  • METAL

    Aluminum and steel cans. No electronics accepted.

  • GLASS

    Glass jars and bottles of all colors. NO windows, mirrors, ceramics, drinking glasses

  • PLASTIC

    PLASTIC WE CAN RECYCLE

    #1 PET: Clear and green beverage bottles only. No clam shells, strawberry containers, plastic pie tops, etc.

    #2 HDPE: Clear and colored bottles/ containers/ jugs

    #4 LDPE film: Clean shrink/stretch cling wrap

    #5 PP (polypropylene): Yogurt/ sour cream containers and bottles

    PLASTIC WE CANNOT RECYCLE

    #3, #6, #7: Please avoid purchasing these plastics, and when unavoidable, please discard because we cannot responsibly recycle them.

  • CARDBOARD

    Corrugated cardboard, brown paper bags, packing paper, cereal boxes, etc.

  • PAPER

    Office Paper, newspaper, magazines, junk mail, etc.

Where do your plastics go?

At DFR we only accept plastics that can be recycled

#1 plastics (ex. water bottles): remade into coat liners, clothing, and carpet padding

#2 natural plastics (ex. milk jugs): remade into new bottles

#2 color plastics (ex. blue laundry softener containers): remade into outdoor furniture

#5 plastics: remade into plastic crates

#4 film (including bubble wrap): remade into outdoor lumber and decking

PLASTIC WE CAN RECYCLE:

#1, #2, #5 and #4 plastics: At DFR we only accept plastics that can be recycled
